Ken Foo, a renowned Malaysian guitarist, composer, arranger, and teacher, presents Solo Guitar Inspirations, Volume 1. This collection is a reflection of his years of expertise and passion for music, designed to inspire guitarists of all levels.

Ken holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne, where he trained under the guidance of acclaimed guitar duo Peter Constant and Marion Schaap. He further honed his skills with Anthony Field, a prominent guitarist, and through masterclasses with the renowned English composer John Duarte. Ken’s dedication to his craft also led him to perform in a masterclass with one of Britain’s finest concert guitarists, John Mills, at the Darwin International Guitar Festival.

Ken began his musical journey under the tutelage of Ong Kek Keong in Malaysia, and his relentless pursuit of excellence has shaped him into the musician and educator he is today.

In 2018, Ken founded La Esencia Music Academy in Ipoh, Malaysia, with a mission to provide high-quality music education to students of all ages. Whether you’re aiming to play for leisure or as a professional, the academy is committed to nurturing your musical growth.
